The Romanian Air Traffic Services Administration – R.A. Romatsa, the exclusive civil air traffic services provider in Romania, will organise the "Best Customer" Award Ceremony for 2010, on the 3rd of December 2010, at 12.00 a.m., Skylight Room, Romatsa Headquarters.
On the 16-17 of September 2010, in Ankara, took place a meeting between delegations representing the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Romania and the Ministry of Transport, Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Turkey.
The Romanian delegation, led by the Director General of the DGAVC, comprised also representatives of the management of R.A. Romatsa and RCAA.
Mrs. Anca Boagiu, the Romanian Minister of Transports, along with Mr. Bogdan Donciu, Director General of Romatsa, innagurated on Saturday the 4th of October 2010, the new dispensary of the commune Mitocu Dragomirnei of Suceava County.
At the event were also present the president of the county council, Mr. Gheorghe Flutur, and the PD-L Member of Parliament, Mr. Ioan Bălan.
As a final stage of the procurement, R.A. Romatsa signed on the 7th of October 2010 the contract with AviBit data processing GmbH regarding the delivery, installment and putting into operation of an A-SMGCS System at the Henri Coandă Bucharest Internaţional Airport.
On the 29th of April it was signed between the Ministry of Transports and Infrastructure – General Directorate of Control – Department of Investigation Air Transports (MTI – DGCIAT – SITA) and R.A. Romatsa a protocol of colaboration for the implementation of the ECCAIRS system. SITA gave Romatsa the ECCAIRS software for archiving and transmitting the reports of the civil aviation events towards SITA and AACR

During the period 3-4 Mai 2010, at the Grand Phoenicia Hotel in Bucharest, took place the High Level Conference on Air Law, with the theme “New challenges and threats in civil aviation”, Conference organised by the International Civil Aviation Organisation(ICAO) in colaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Romania and Team Aviation Solutions Limited. The Conference had as a guest of honor Mr. Roberto Kobeh González, President of the ICAO Council.

The CANSO Executive Directors Conference took place on the 8th of March in Amsterdam, where Romatsa was represented by Mr Bogdan Donciu, Director General of Romatsa and Mr Aleodor Frâncu, Director of Strategies, Programme Coordination and International Relations.
The Conference had the topic regarding the introduction of the plans to develop a new CANSO strategy, to help finish succesfully the Imagine 2010 Programme.
