In accordance with the Romanian and international civil aeronautical rules, The Romanian Air Traffic Services Administration – Romatsa is the primary organism responsible for the safety of the air navigation services within Romania, as provider of these services.

Romatsa has the responsibility, witihin the general management of the air nagivation services, to make sure that all relevant aspects regarding safety are approached accordingly, as well as providing the assurance that this was done.
