The CANSO Executive Directors Conference took place on the 8th of March in Amsterdam, where Romatsa was represented by Mr Bogdan Donciu, Director General of Romatsa and Mr Aleodor Frâncu, Director of Strategies, Programme Coordination and International Relations.
The Conference had the topic regarding the introduction of the plans to develop a new CANSO strategy, to help finish succesfully the Imagine 2010 Programme.
The meeting was presided by Mr Ashley Smout, President of CANSO and CEO of Airways New Zeeland and Mr Graham Lake, Director of CANSO.
The conference was followed by the ATC Global Exposition and Conference, one of the most important annual events in the aviation domain, ehich took place this year during the period 09-11 March 2010, marking the twentieth edition.
In visiting the ATC Global 2010 Exposition, Mr Bogdan Donciu and Mr Aleodor Frâncu discussed with representatives from DFS and EUROCONTROL regarding the development of CANSO, of the predictable changhes in the future, of the objectives and main points of the institutional development, as well as the regulating on different levels and options of the CANSO strategy.
