In accordance with the Annex 3 - ROMATSA provides meteorological services for the international air navigation. Their target is "to contribute to the safety, the smooth flow and the efficiency of the international air navigation."
This target is reached by providing the operators, the crews, the air traffic units, the search and rescue units, the airport management and all the other parties concerned with the meteorological information necessary for the fulfillment of their tasks.
