The aeronautical information services provided by ROMATSA are achieved in accordance with the ICAO Annex 15, so that all the aeronautical data and information necessary for a safe, smooth and efficient air navigation should be available, in an appropriate form, taking into account the operational requirements to:
a) the operational staff, including the crews, the planning staff and the simulator staff;
b) the air traffic units responsible for the aeronautical information services and to the units responsible for the pre - flight information.

Pre-flight information
ROMATSA obtains aeronautical data and information from RCAA, issues and distributes Pre-Flight Information Bulletin (PIB). By these activities, the pre - flight information is achieved. At every aerodrome where international air traffic operates, the aeronautical information , essential for the air navigation safety, smooth flow and efficiency and in connection with the outbound / inbound routes, must be available for the operational staff concerned, including the crews and the services responsible for the pre - flight information.
Post-flight information
The states have to provide all the ways so that the information referring to the condition and the operation of the air navigation facilities, noticed by the crews, should be received at every airport / heliport and should be conveyed to the aeronautical information department, in order to be spread whenever necessary.
